About Generation Roofing
Built for West Hills homeowners
Generation Roofing is based in West Hills, California, at 6711 Vicky Ave, and serves West Hills and nearby areas including Canoga Park, Woodland Hills, Chatsworth, Reseda, Tarzana and Northridge, with Warner Center, Hidden Hills, Bell Canyon, Roscoe and the Fallbrook corridor in the service area. The work is shaped by the local housing stock and climate: older coverings, Valley heat and UV, Santa Ana wind, and hillside exposure at the western edge.
Generation Roofing serves West Hills and nearby areas from its West Hills base. Contact is by phone only at (747) 335-3331, and estimates and scheduling are arranged by phone.
When a roof is inspected, photographs show what is found — cracked flashing, missing shingles, worn underlayment — and the findings are explained in plain language, with what needs fixing now separated from what can wait a season. You receive a written estimate before work starts.
What we promise
How we work
How we work
Lead estimator
Role
An estimate starts with an on-site look at the roof, including flashing, vents, gutters and attic ventilation, and the written estimate sets out the scope and the material.
Installation foreman
Role
Work is checked as it goes — shingles, ridge vents and flashing — before a job is called done, and the finished roof is walked with the homeowner.
Repair specialist
Role
Leak work traces the source, whether flashing, a pipe boot or a chimney surround, rather than only the stain it leaves behind.
Tools we use
The gear behind the work
The work uses standard roofing tools and inspection photographs, and the same approach is used from the first look at a roof to the final walkthrough: name the problem, name the scope, and put it in writing before work starts.
Roof Installation
New roof installation starts with a deck inspection, then underlayment, flashing and the chosen covering, with the scope and the material named in writing.
Roof Replacement
Full tear-off and replacement is the scope when repairs no longer make sense: the old roof is stripped, the deck is checked, and the new system is built with new underlayment and flashing.
Roof Repair
Repair work traces a leak or damage to its source — flashing, a pipe boot, a valley or wind-lifted shingles — and the written scope sets out what will be fixed.
Roof Inspection
A full roof inspection covers the covering, flashing, vents, gutters and attic ventilation, documented with photographs and a written report with priorities.
